Following the announcement of Syndicate, many were skeptical due to this sole fact: the game was being rebooted into a first-person shooter. “Oh, just another generic FPS” was the first thought that came to many’s minds. Indeed, it’s a valid assumption as judging by the latest gameplay footage it just looks like a downloadable content pack for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
