10 Xbox 360 Exclusives We Want Microsoft To Announce

Page 2

Microsoft doesn’t really have a lot of first party studios but then again it doesn’t need to buy many, because 360 is doing quite well right now. But the Exclusives have dried up. We don’t need new IPs but many 360 games which were really good in quality didn’t get a sequel or those games haven’t been announced yet.

What we want is that Microsoft should fund these games and they can easily survive this console gen with these exclusives. 2010 was a very good year for the 360, not only most multiplatforms find a home on the platform but many games end up being released on the 360. It gives good return and is easier to develop games on it.

With all the success 360 and Kinect are seeing right now, we would love to see Microsoft spend some of that cash on these exclusives so that the core gamers get the games that they deserve.

Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake was one of the fresh new IPs we have seen on the 360, it was well received critically although the 5 year development time was frowned upon. What we need is for Remedy to make another game that does not recycle gameplay elements so much and is also set in a world that gives the player some breather. The engine is superb and we know what they are capable of and we believe MS should give them one more chance.

With rumours building up that Remedy is already hard at work making the sequel, we won’t be surprised if we see an announcement soon.

Lost Odyssey 2

Not Final Fantasy by name but it is a Final Fantasy by soul. Made by legends like Sakaguchi and Uematsu, this was one of the best Jrpgs this gen. Mistwalker had agreed to do three games on the Xbox 360 which was Blue dragon and this game respectively and one yet to be done. We would love MS to announce a sequel to Lost Odyssey this E3. As a big fan of such type of games, I had played Lost Odyssey a lot and I can boldly say that the game was better than Square’s FFXIII.

Project Gotham Racing 5

Ah, who can forget PGR3 and PGR4, the best racing games on the 360, bikes, motorcycles, weather system, lot of cars, you name it. PGR had it all. Activision has disposed of Bizzare and we want someone to revive the franchise. I don’t think anyone can do this marvelous franchise justice but Bizzare. We really want Microsoft to buy them again and set them to work on PGR5.

Halo 1 reboot

Halo Reach was a prequel to Halo Combat Evolved. It had a much better engine resulting in great graphics which really made Reach one of the best looking sandbox games out there. The ending of Reach left me craving for Master chief, should I play Halo combat evolved again? Would I like it? This is why a Halo 1 remake is needed. Master chief in all his glory with the Reach engine will be a sight to behold.

Crackdown 3

Crackdown 2 was disappointing, it didn’t do justice to the first game which was one of the best open world games out there.  It doesn’t look that great but that’s not what made Crackdown such a loved game, it was the amount of fun and things to do which made it amazing. Crackdown 2 was just a copy with very less improvements and this ruined the franchise in a way. We want MS to give the developers one more chance at this, so they can truly showcase the creativity they posses and deliver a worthy game to the franchise.
