It’s been widely known for quite some time now that Microsoft will be discontinuing the XBOX Live service for games on the original XBOX on April 15th, 2010. What is news, however, is that they plan on sweetening the deal just a little bit to make it a little more endurable experience.
Live users on the original XBOX will receive 400 MS Points, three months of free XBOX Live Gold subscription, and access to the exclusive closed beta of the highly-anticipated Halo: Reach. So if you’ve been a loyal player of Halo 2 multiplayer, there’s good stuff coming your way!
