Portal 2 is official, announced as next GI cover story

After the suspicious looking update Valve  released for Portal this week hinting that a sequel to the innovative and excellent puzzler was on its way , now we know for sure that Portal 2 is indeed a reality and its coming soon. Now, you might be asking how do we know? Well, its going to be the April cover art for Game Informer !

Its also going to feature a exclusive 12-page cover story about Valve’s latest. We can’t wait for it to happen.

No details have been announced officially for the title yet but we might get its first batch of information incoming at the soon to be held GDC, where Gabe Newell is going to be felicitated.

The game’s going to be available for the PC, we know that for sure but there has been no confirmation regarding the other platforms it might be available on yet. Expect an update as soon as we get more on this. Keep a tab on GI’s Portal 2 hub for exclusive reveals throughout the month aswell.

Update- Valve made an official announcement over at Steam about the game and says it will release this Holiday Season.
