Activision can’t guarantee Call of Duty: Elite PC version

Activision says they cannot guarantee when or even if there’ll be a PC version of Call of Duty: Elite.
The publisher’s official Twitter account said in a reply:
We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC.
Beachhead – the studio who created Elite – boss Chacko Sonny recently commented on a possible PC version of the Call of Duty social service:
The issue here is that the PC is insecure platform. Without a central, trusted resource for stats, a lot of our competition features become unfair. We can’t give away prizes when people can easily cheat their stats. Leaderboards are less fun when a lot of the users are there unfairly.
Call of Duty: Elite experienced outage issues on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s launch day due to the influx of users signing up for the premium-based service.
