Anonymous releases statement in response to Sony
Cyber group Anonymous has released a statement in response to Sony’s accusal that they found a file containing the words “Anonymous” and “We are Legion” in one of their servers. This was told yesterday, in a statement released by Sony as a response to Congress.
Anonymous has now denied all responsibility and has stated that it has nothing to do with the recent PSN hack and didn’t steal the credit card details or personal information of customers.
“While we are a distributed and decentralized group. Our ‘leadership’ does not condone credit card theft. We are concerned with the erosion of privacy and fair use, the spread of corporate feudalism, the abuse of power and the justifications of executives and leaders who believe themselves immune personally and financially for the actions the undertake in the name of corporations and public office.”
