Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Animus Project Update 1.0 DLC now available for free

Ubisoft has sent out word that The Animus Project Update 1.0 DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood can now be downloaded for free.

The Animus Project Update 1.0 includes a new multiplayer map and a brand-new game mode called Advanced Alliance. Advanced Alliance is a modified version of the existing Allaince mode. Target identification and engagement more difficult in contrast, ensuring more challenging experience.The new map Mont Saint-Michel, is located on a rocky tidal island of Normandy in France and sports breathtaking scenery.

Ubisoft is also working on a second update for the DLC which will another new game mode and brand new map. In “Chest Capture”, two teams comprised of three players each partner with fellow Templars to either defend or capture Chests. Also included is the new Templar Score feature to reward diligent work by Abstergo recruits.

Animus Project Update 2.0 will be released sometime in January and will also be free.
