Assassin’s Creed III will feature four player co-op, according to Xbox.com
The listing of Assassin’s Creed III that surfaced on Xbox.com shortly after the game’s debut points at a four player co-op mode. The description has been modified after it was spotted, but the damage has already been done. All Games Beta managed to snag a pic, which you can see above, before it was taken down.
The competitive multiplayer modes in Brotherhood and Revelations are sure to make a return, but online co-op would be a first for the series. Although this is still classified as a rumor, the chances that Microsoft would list assumptions as overview are very slim. We all know how bad they are at keeping secrets.
Assassin’s Creed III received its first trailer yesterday, and is set to launch on the PC, XBox 360 and PS3 on October 31st of this year. A Wii U version is also planned, but details have yet to be revealed.
