Best Xbox 360 games Of 2010

In this article, Gamersmint takes a look at the Xbox 360’s lineup for 2010. The 360 really had a poor lineup in 2009 with just one game above 85 in Metacritic and it really pulled up it socks this year and launched an offensive to boost its library and boost it did as it had a lot of games this year, both critically and as well as commercially acclaimed.

So what are these games? Let’s take a look at it.

Simply a masterpiece, this game shook the gaming industry by storm as 2010 commenced, earning a lavish praise and setting a standard in its genre that is very hard to pass. With an innovative combat system and style that will make you blush, this game had everything. The innovative levels, bosses, sexy animations and a beautiful soundtrack make this game so much memorable that it’s hard to pass by. This game is also available on the PS3 but if you really want to enjoy it ,the 360 is the way to go with its smooth framerate and much better graphics and the 360 controller is the one to use for Bayonetta

Platforms: PS3, 360.   Best played on: Xbox 360

Mass Effect 2

The second bombshell this year, which sits very high on Metacritic. Not only that but it’s an extremely polished game. This game will be out on the PS3 as well exactly a year after the 360 release but considering the fact that Mass Effect is exclusive to the 360 and won’t be available on the PS3 makes it an easy choice since the decisions from that game affects the outcome of this game. 360 owners thus, had an excellent start to the year, enjoying two excellent games.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is a masterpiece, be it the campaign which is filled with memorable moments and things to do or be it the multiplayer which will make you love it till you reach level 50, this title just keeps on giving. Ubisoft have improved the Assassin’s Creed formula with this game and it has so much polish that it deserves your money. The 360 version is not only good looking but has a better framerate as well. It’s one of the best 360 games of 2010.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

It’s a Call of Duty game. Which means it’s worth your money, no doubt about that. Black Ops has a spectacular Campaign, and so many features that will keep you busy till the next CoD game arrives. One thing that this game proves is that, Treyarch is not Shit. Treyarch is the shit. If you are bored of MW2 and need a shooter for the Holidays, look no further. The PS3 version is not only very poor looking with a blurry image but the multiplayer is broken too. The 360 version is really balanced and seems it was optimized for that hardware since we all know how much it sells on it. With exclusive DLC packs planned in the future, it’s an easy choice to get this for the 360.

Dead rising 2

If you love Zombies and have also loved the previous Dead Rising game, there is no reason why you shouldn’t get this game. Dead Rising 2 is by far the best Zombie murdering simulator available. With tons of weapon customizations, you will be in no shortage of killer and innovative weapons to kill Zombies throughout the game. The game has a great replayability factor. You will have to play the game many times to see most of the stuff Blue Castle intended you to see, combined with co op, this game is worth your money.  So what are you waiting for, get it as soon as possible if you haven’t. Like the other multiplatform games this one is best played on the 360.

Think the writer used the word ‘masterpiece’ 10 too many times. Fucking hell, just lazy journalism, no creativity whatsoever.

HAHAHAHA WAIT WHAT?! just one game above 85 on metacritic in 2009? Left 4 Dead 2, Forza Motorsport 3
those are just two exclusive examples. And there are others which can’t I remember but that’s beside the point. That was a horribly ignorant comment.

And @ “psboy”, no one claimed that these games are exclusive. They were just some of the best games of this year and as they’re always better on xbox, therefore why not mention them as being some of the best games of xbox that year?
But still, this is a really crap article. What about Halo Reach? Xbox’s flagship title, the best in the series? Honestly…

And hahahahhaha psboy, really? “ps has better graphic” oh dear… Want to know why? What are the best looking games on ps3? God Of War, Uncharted. What do they have in common? They’re linear. Ridiculously linear. They’re also done by first party studios, who are used to the system’s architecture. The first party games on 360 aren’t linear and still look great. Alan Wake for example. It looks beautiful yet it’s nearly free roam at some points.

L4D2 is on the PC as well, so yeah its just one. “ignorant” irony much? lol. This year was really great for the 360 though.

    Not really.

Xbox is crap for using multi platform games and make it look like its their exclusive but every PS exclusive is better than any one of these games and speaking of frame rate those dumb ass developers that can’t make the game work good on the PS because its too hard should’t even call themselves developer and every one know the PS has better graphic and if those games were PS exclusives they would look so better on the PS3 because PS has real developers not like activision
