Blizzard: Biggest patch since Cataclysm due later this year

Just the other day, it was discovered that Blizzard had recently trademarked the name of the Pandaren homeland from their WarCraft series, Mists of Pandaria.

Now, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime says that “the team is currently working on our largest content update since Cataclysm and that will hit later this year.” (MorningStar). The last patch, 4.2 Rage of the Firelands, brought with it the outdoor raid Firelands and the fire lord Ragnaros back from the deep of Molten Core. Could this patch be the mysterious homeland of the Pandaren monks? Quite possibly. Blizzard has also promised at least one more expansion for WoW before it moves on to its next gen MMO which still lurks in the shadows.
