Brink pushed back to 2011
Today Bethesda Softworks announced that Splash Damage’s upcoming first person shooter has been delayed till Q1 2011. Maybe its for the better as the game might need a little more polish. Splash Damage was behind some of the multiplayer maps in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and Doom 3 and is also responsible for the extremely addictive Multiplayer game Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
In Brink, two sides, “Resistance” and “Security”, fight in the outskirts of a utopian city known as The Ark, a floating city surrounded by the waters of a flooded Earth. The game uses a heavily modified version of the id Tech 4 Engine and is really impressive. The game also features in depth Character Customization. We will keep you updated when we get an official release date.
