Brink release moved up a week

Bethesda has announced that Splash Damage’s upcoming FPS Brink will ship a week earlier than previously announced.

“Production wrapped on Brink earlier than we planned and we didn’t see any reason to keep gamers from getting their hands on this highly anticipated game as soon as it was ready,” said Pete Hines from Bethesda marketing.

“It’s apparent from the tremendous reaction so far that people are eager to jump online and play, and if we can make that happen earlier – we’re going to.”

Gamers will now be able to pick up the game on 10th May, instead of 17th in NA and on the 13th of May, rather than the 20th in Europe.  Brink will be available for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
