Brotherhood title update disables multiplayer for Xbox 360

Updates, we’ll love them but when they screw up, it’s not a happy scene.

Ubisoft released a title update for title update for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood which fixes a few issues including the dreaded Animus bug, however for Xbox 360 gamers, it creates a far bigger issue than those it fixes!

Various people on the Ubisoft forums have confirmed that upon installing the update, Xbox 360 gamers can’t access Brotherhood’s multiplayer and are instead stuck at a screen which endlessly request them to update the game.

This is not limited to a particular region and everyone who’s downloaded the patch is going through this.

The game’s production manager, Azaizia Aymar, acknowledged this news, confirming Ubi’s aware of the issue and are hard at work making a fix via a tweet:

Hey #Assassin‘s Creed players, we are aware of the issue with the latest title update, we are all focusing on it. Thanks for your patience!

We hope Ubi comes up with a fix for this soon.
