Counter Strike: Global Offensive beta gets delayed

Valve has confirmed that Counter Strike: Global Offensive will miss its projected open beta launch this month.
One of the company’s lead writer, Chet Faliszek, confirmed the news during an interview with ESEA News.
When the open beta does see its launch, Faliszek said it’ll feature either one or two maps. New content, meanwhile, will be added over time as the game’s release date draws closer. 10,000 testers will be chosen for the preview of the shooter.
The game releases on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC during the opening stages of next year.
