Counter Strike Source: How to SCORE with the weapons you’ve got!

The tagline says it all. This section is all about how you can get the maximum out of each of the weapons at your disposal in CS: S.
Note: – I will only cover the weapons which are actually of some use to you and not feature the useless ones!

1. Knife :- The knife is one of the default two weapons in CS: S . Most of you might think how useless this thing is which proves how most of you are so dumb!!!
Don’t be fooled by its look. Although anyone trying to actually kill someone with this thing might as well jump off the nearest cliff, it has other useful features. When equipped you run a lot faster and also can jump much higher! So, it’s crucial to equip it while trying to cover long distances and also when you are out of ammo and need to retreat or want to move to crucial camping spots before your enemy does. Equip the knife and run. It might save your life!
Pistols:- Pistols are your lifelines in CS: S. If you run out of ammo for your primary weapons while in the midst of a heated firefight, this little thing is crucial for you to walk out of it alive! It also serves as your primary if you’re a beggar… Read on.
9 x 19MM sidearm
Cost – $400
Rating – *
Description – This is the terrorist only default sidearm you will get. Its offers a clip of 20 rounds and has two modes of fire – single shot and 3 shot burst mode. It’s really a weak weapon and a highly inaccurate one at that. Try to shoot burst of 3 to 4 bullets at a time aiming for the head. Avoid it if you can buy anything else!
KM .45 Tactical
Cost – $500
Rating – **
Description – This weapon is a CT exclusive and is your default pistol. Is relatively stronger than its terrorist counterpart and offers a mix of decent stopping power and accuracy. ! Ammo’s 12 per clip and has a silencer which is better left unused unless you’re a pro. If you have good control over the mouse, use this weapon in the first two rounds and get a few kills with it in order to buy a rifle in the third. 4 shots in the upper body of the Jihadis will ensure they attain Jannat ASAP!
Nighthawk .50C
Cost – $650
Rating – ***
Description – Lethal will be the perfect word to describe this baby. The most powerful pistol at your disposal, it lives up to its name! Known for quickly disposing off anyone who’s foolish enough to come in its way, although it requires some major skills for using this pistol effectively as its recoil is heavy and you need to pinpoint it at your target before pressing the trigger. Has only 7 rounds per clip but reloads pretty quick.  Use this baby with respect, pausing after each shot and one bullet to the head the 3 in the chest will ensure your opponent becomes a statistic.
Writer’s Tip – If you really want to pwn your foes, then crouch while shooting with this gun and aim near the neck and you will be able to kill one enemy per shot! Also it becomes a lot more accurate while used in the crouch stance.
.40 Dual Elites
Cost – $800
Rating – ***
Description – These are my favourite pistols in CS: S. They are only available to the terrorists and are the most expensive pistols in the game. These pistols seem they have been inspired from the wild wild west! Have a whooping 30 rounds combined clip and are darn accurate and powerful pair of pistols. Spray your opponent with these and he won’t stand a chance. Shoot repeatedly like a cowboy towards your enemy and he will go down. Only blemish is the fact that it takes ages to reload. So, use the full clip before reloading and find cover before doing so.
Writer’s Tip – You can take on multiple enemies using these guns at once thanks to its large clip. Just maintain distance and fire this weapon in the direction of both the enemies while maneuvering and both of them will go down before you do! Works best in a pistol
round.
Es Five Seven
Cost – $750
Rating – **
Description – This is the most expensive pistol available to the CTs and is also an exclusive. When it comes to packing a punch, its nowhere close to its terrorist’s counterpart. Has a 20 round clip and can boast of high accuracy but stopping power’s poor and so is the recoil. Use this only if you like aiming for the head and spraying your enemy in hope of getting some headshots! Needs 3-4 headshots with this to take an enemy down! Best not used!
This wraps up our pistol guide. I have left out the 228 Compact pistol, as it’s useless and offer no real advantage!
