Dead Rising 2 hitting shelves this October

Capcom today confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel to Dead Rising will make its way to Europe on October 1st for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game will take place in the gambling paradise of Fortune City. Players will be placed in the shoes of Chuck Greene as you make your way through a gazillion zombies. The number of zombies which can be seen onscreen at any one time has also been dramatically increased from 800 in the original to a colossal 6000 and players can dispose them in any possible way they can think off.
