Deus Ex Successor Discussed

Following the phenomenal success of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, developer Eidos Montreal has discussed plans for possible future installments.

Eidos Montreal’s Marce-Andre Dufort told Eurogamer when asked if he’d like to make another Deus Ex title:

I would like to, but I don’t know what the future is right now. I know that Wada-san [Yoichi Wada, Square Enix president] said he had a plan for the future, but right now we’re celebrating the success of the game, since it’s the first game of the studio.

He added that before embarking on another journey, the whole team would love to have a pit-stop in-between:

I don’t know if you’ve seen the credits of the main game, but there were a lot of production babies, so I think people want to spend some time with their families and take some time off. That’s pretty much where we are right now.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution has shipped two million units, as well as releasing to a great critical reception. You can read our review of the game over here, we gave it a glowing 4/5.
