E3 Nukes – 5 games that Sony might announce at their Conference
Eight Days –
Eight days was first shown as a tech demo in 2005’s E3 conference, where it blew people away with the impressive open world graphics, the game was in development for a long time and in 2008 we heard from Sony that they canceled the project along with another game called Getaway 3. These 2 games were developed by SCE London Studios and we believe that Sony diverted the funds to other projects like HOME and EyePet( seriously?)… which was…well… unfortunate really.
Check out the trailer below and see why it was so amazing and why we are so interested in it.
Good news is that in October 2008, we received another confirmation from Sony that Eight days was not canned and the status was set to “held”. This obliviously brought a smile to our faces because the tech demo in 2005 was so impressive that we felt it would be one of the most definitive games on the Playstation 3 ( Just imagine what it might look like now?)
Keep a lookout for this game at E3 2010. If it gets announced, PS3 owners are in for an one hell of a ride.
Uncharted 3
Uncharted 2 is definitely one of the most enjoyable games we have played on the Playstation 3. It was the best at whatever it did and was successful in providing gamers with never a dull moment and top notch quality gameplay and a thrilling story. If you know Nathan Drake, he is not someone to rest for long and his trip to Shambala is a thing of the past now. It won’t surprise us if he is already planning his next adventure and we would love to see Sony tease the next iteration of the series in their upcoming press conference.
Interestingly, this wish is backed by some bits of information, a few weeks ago, a German social networking website having a profile of Nathan Drake ( a marketing ploy by SCEA) had suggested that Nathan Drake is going to Fredrikstad which also happens to be the birthplace of Roald Amundsen – A polar explorer who was the first human to reach both the South and North poles. SCEA denied by saying this was just the PR guys getting into character and not hints about the upcoming adventure of Drake but we are not convinced. We will know this E3 though!
This bring us to the end of our wish(read – fact)list and we hope you guys want to see atleast some of these games being announced as much as we do. DO let us know your thoughts in the comments tab below. And happy E3 2010 ( ya, it’s like a festival for us!).
