EA: Portal 2 to have cross-platform co-op support between PC and PS3
Some great news comes for PS3 and PC owners who are looking forward to Portal 2.
PressXorDie is reporting that Valve’s upcoming first person puzzler is going to support cross platform co-op between PC and PS3.
This news has been confirmed by a EA rep to them, apparently and a official PR informing the same is expected “next week”.
Gabe Newell confirmed that Portal 2 will be releasing on PS3 last E3 and also said that the title will be supporting steamworks even on PS3, a feature exclusive to the console, although it’ll also be releasing on Xbox 360.
This news gels pretty well with Valve’s commitment to give the best to PS3 owners.
However, take this news with a pinch of Salt for now since we’re yet to get an official word from EA on this.
We’ve however contacted them and are expecting a reply soon.
We’ll let you know more as it arrives.
Portal 2 releases  on Feb 9 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
