EA Store confirms Mass Effect 3

Somebody over at EA has screwed up big time. Mass Effect 3 was listed for pre order on the EA store for a short while before being taken down, thereby confirming its existence.

The listing included a description that read:-

“Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth.”

The listing has been removed but the damage has already been done. Although much wasn’t revealed, the listing confirmed that the game will be heading to the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Expect an official reveal at the VGA’s which will begin shortly.

The game is rumoured to feature a multiplayer component this time around.
