Far Cry 3 Announced for 2012

Ubisoft have announced that Far Cry 3 will be released on PC, PS3 and XBox 360 in 2012.

The game is in development at Ubisoft’s Montreal studio and will be releasing next year.

The game puts you in the shoes of Jason Brody, who’s a stranded man on a tropical island. The game will offer you the choice to decide how you progress throughout the game and how the story plays out, and you’ll have to fight against your enemies or turn on your allies.

“Far Cry 3 brings something new and unexpected, while still building upon the foundations of excellence that are inherent to the Far Cry brand,” said producer Dan Hay.

“Whether you’re already a fan of the Far Cry series or jumping into the franchise for the very first time, you’re going to be blown away by the gritty story and epic adventure we’re going to deliver.”
