Far Cry 3 might release by the end of this year

Apart from the fact that the game is in development, we know absolutely nothing about the third installment of Ubisoft’s sandbox shooter franchise. However, it looks like we wont be kept waiting for too long as the Official PlayStation magazine had reported that Far Cry 3 might hit store shelves by the end of this year.

“Start taking the malaria medicine in preparation: Far Cry 3 could be arriving before the end of this year.”

Far Cry 3 was first confirmed to be in development back in August 2008 and Ubisoft hasn’t let anything slip so far. With the mention of the “malaria medicine”, we can assume that the game will be set in Africa again. We will mostly get to see an official unveiling at E3 this year.
