Final Fantasy V coming soon on PSN
I am sure most of you have not played this game, and if you haven’t this is your chance. Final Fantasy V will be available on the PSN soon. This is not that first time that Square is bringing old Final Fantasy titles on PSN and probably won’t be the last.
Here’s a statement Sqaure:
“FINAL FANTASY V is coming to the PlayStation Network as a PSOne Classic. I’m particularly pleased to announce this, as V happens to be one of my favourite entries to the series, with its incredible expansion of FINAL FANTASY III’s job system and, best of all, a main character with a pet Chocobo. The PSOne version of the game has full FMV cutscenes and features old-school FINAL FANTASY combat using the Active Time Battle system.
Here’s the story of the game:
One day, the Tycoon King, upon feeling an irregularity in the air currents, rushed to the Wind Shrine, only to find the Wind Crystal shattering to pieces right before his eyes. In addition to this catastrophe, an enormous meteor had fallen to the ground, causing earthquakes in the surrounding land near Tycoon Castle.
Unbeknownst to them, this event is about to bring four people from different walks of life together on a common journey filled with new encounters and many mysteries.
The game will playable both on your PSP and PS3. Square’s yet to announce an official release date. We’ll keep you updated.
