Front Mission Evolved release date announced

Front Mission Evolved, the seventh game in the series of Front Mission games, has been given an official announcement by their publisher Square Enix Ltd and is scheduled to be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and in stereoscopic 3D for  Windows on 17th September 2010. Developed jointly by Double Helix Games and Square Enix, Front Mission Evolved breaks away from the genre of turn based tactical role playing games established by the Front Mission franchise, instead focussing it’s gameplay on action-packed Third-Person Shooter.

With an terrorist attack on United States of the New Continent’s (U.S.N.) space elevators, players are put in the shoes of engineer Dylan Ramsay who is thrust into an deep conspiracy by being at the wrong place at wrong time.Gamers will once again take full control of their massive humanoid mechanical warriors called “Wanzers”. Fully customizable with various weapons and parts, these Wanzers are the USP of the game as they offer the destructive playthrough throughout the single player and fun filled multiplayer. Expect heavy combat in diverse maps ranging from concrete cities and frozen tundras.
