Gamersmint Review: Bayonetta
Final Thoughts
I was expecting Bayonetta to be a good game, but was pleasantly surprised to find such a deep, combat heavy experience that never stops giving. Maybe the story is not worth visiting this 15 hour experience a second time, but you will be doing yourself injustice by not replaying the epic boss fights or clearing out levels for a better rank. Bayonetta has placed itself at the very top of the action gaming genre. I don’t see any game having better combat mechanics than Bayonetta, in the near foreseeable future. The first great action game of 2010, might very well end up becoming the best action game of 2010.

- Amazing, amazing combat system…there is simply no equal.
- Boss battles that defy the word EPIC!
- Brilliant, if still slightly disturbed, art direction and equally potent visuals.
- The false endings. The game keeps you guessing till the very end.
- Final boss battle is out of this world…literally…I mean it!
- Bayonetta is a thousand times better than your girlfriend can ever be.
What Bombed
- Non-existent plot.
- Horrific voice-acting.
- Whats up with the filmstrip cutscenes?
