God of War 3 review: A Titanic Masterpiece
Final Thoughts
God of War 3 is a testament to the power of the Playstation 3, incorporating elements that every other game studio will be playing catch up with. The refined combat, the super-responsive controls, epic set-pieces all culminate into one of the finest gaming experiences ever crafted. I have to agree that I would have liked to see much more of the hyped Titan gameplay and have better puzzles, but after three complete playthroughs of the game, I cannot help but give in to the marvel of God of War 3. Scoring this game was always going to be a tough one. The similar combat mechanics and less focus on puzzles was always going to be something that I would have to consider but then again…everything else in the game is so close to perfection that if I would come across as a cynic if I complained. To sum it all up: God of War 3 is a titanic masterpiece. Period.
