Ghost Recon: Future Soldier slips to Q1 2012

The next installment in Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon series finds itself a victim of yet another delay. Future Solider which had earlier been pushed back to a Spring 2011 release from its original Holiday 2010 time frame, is now currently slated for a Q1 2012 release.

The announcement was made by Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot in order to place Future Soldier safe from competition and to ensure that the game is polished to perfection. The game made quite a splash at last year’s E3 and looks to reinvent the franchise with the implementation of future weaponry and gadgets.
