Indian Game Release Dates-February

After an action-packed beginning to the year with January seeing some mega game releases in the form of Bayonetta and Darksiders. The second month of the year promises to continue the influx of great games with a many exciting title lined up for release.

To kick things off in style, Bioshock 2 will have an Indian release on Feb 9th to take you along a visit to the city of Rapture. The game will be releasing for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox360 aswell as for the PC. And if the dark and mysterious world of Rapture does not excite you, be prepared to fight against the minions of hell and have an experience like none other as Dante’s Inferno is also releasing on the same day as Bioshock 2 here in India-Feb 9th. The game will see its release for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox360 consoles in the form of an Divine Edition for the PS3 which includes the full game soundtrack and Wayne Barlow’s digital art book along with the game. The game will also ship as a collector’s edition(also known as Death edition) which will be available for both the consoles(PS3 and Xbox360). The Death edition contains a varied spread of goodies to give you the best bang for every buck you will invest.  The contents of the box are stated in the picture below.

Dante’s Inferno will also see a PSP version hit Indian store but at a later date( February 22) and there are some cool pre-order bonuses being offered with the game aswell. Check with your local vendor to know more about those.

And if both of these titles are not your cup of tea and what you want is some JRPG love then you are in luck! February will see the release of two JRPGs for the Playstation 3 (tough luck Xbox60 owners!). Star Ocean IV: The Last Hope International will see its release on February 12 and it will be followed by the much anticipated PS3 exclusive JRPG White Knight Chronicles which will be releasing around 20-26 of February(tentative).

And while the JRPGs fans busy themselves with these titles. Fans of the AvP series have much more to chew on aswell because Alien Vs Predator 3 will be having an Indian release on February 19th. The game seems to feature some kickass multiplayer aswell as single player components and looks set to deliver an entertaining gaming experience.  But, if you think that’s the end of all the action you will have this month, you couldn’t have been further from the truth! The last worthwhile release of February is also the most highly anticipated one! Be prepared to follow the trail of an Origami Killer and uncover dark and disturbing mysteries as you fight against him in Heavy Rain- The highly anticipated game noir cum thriller Playstation 3 exclusive. The game will be available across Indian stores from February 24th and everyone in their right minds should purchase it. And if PC gamers are thinking they are not getting enough to content with, the highly anticipated RTS title Napolean Total War will be releasing on 26 February.
