Infamous 2 beta extended in wake of PSN problems

Have you been enjoying the beta? Angered at the fact that you will lose precious time due to the PSN outage? Well good news – Sucker Punch has decided to extend the length of the beta. So you can carry on with your ‘testing’ once PSN is up.

This is what they had to say on the game’s official Twitter feed

“We’ve decided to extend the beta. Once PSN is back up we’ll determine by how long, but rest assured: your outcry has been heard.”

If you are looking for an Infamous 2 beta code, you wont find it now, since Sucker Punch has decided to stop distributing the codes, till PSN starts working.

They say, “Handing out beta codes that you can’t redeem is decidedly cruel and unusual – that said, during this time of maintenance, we will suspend all code giveaways and contests”

“As soon as PSN is back up and running, though, you can expect to see our contests and giveaways populating our usual outlets. As usual, stay tuned to our Twitter feed, and we’ll let you know as soon as the servers come back online.”

Infamous 2 releases on PSN on June 10.
