Insomniac: Resistance 3 Campaign is playable from start to finish

Senior community manager of Insomniac games answered to a blog post about the content, that the campaign is complete and only polishing is left. Thats pretty impressive since they get an extra year for developing Resistance 3.
This is what he had to say,

We’ll get into this more on the Full Moon Show, I think… and we have to be careful about discussing exactly where we are in dev… but we totally have a lot of content done (2 years of dev so far) w/ a lot of polishing to go.

the game is playable start to finish on disc though, which is pretty insane for an Insomniac game w/ this much time left.

On weapons

The new Auger sight is awesome, should’ve notice the proper iron sights for the magnum too, and all the chimeran Weapons have cool alien ironsights to them.

Resistance 3 will launch on 6-9-2011 on the PS3.
