James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game Review

Final Thoughts
What starts off as a promising romp into the beautiful world of Pandora soon devolves into a monotonous, repetitive mess that is an exercise in mediocrity and hardly bearable after a few hours. The rich visuals and astounding amount of information provided in the Pandorapedia do warrant a fleeting look but that’s about it. Cameron’s vision of Pandora has been expertly crafted in the game and is applause worthy, but somewhere along the way, the developers forgot that gameplay comes first in a game. Avatar: The Game is by no means a bad game…what it is, however, is an extremely long advertisement for the movie that you have to pay for.
