John Carmack has good things to say about PSP2

When game developing legend, John Carmack has things to say, people listen.

Thankfully, he has good things to speak about Sony’s new handheld, PSP2 a.k.a NGP (Next Gen Portable).

He thinks that the handheld is “above” any smart phone in the market or which is going to be announced. He disclosed this in a Tweet :

“Low level APIs will allow the Sony NGP to perform about a generation beyond smart phones with comparable specs.”

Well, we aren’t as experienced as him, but we think by saying that he means that a smartphone with a near identical specification (something that doesn’t currently exist) would still perform as if it was a generation older than the NGP.

Sony must be feeling proud right now.
