Lost Planet 2 PC Version dated, specs revealed
Capcom, the publishers of the acclaimed Lost Planet 2, have announced that the vast environments and brutal gigantic Arkids of the game are making their presence felt on PC, come October 15th 2010. Utilizing full support of the latest Direct X 11, Lost Planet 2 hopes to bring the vast alien infested world and the heavily-armoured vital suits in more glorious detail than their console counterparts which were released last year. Several enhancements are going to be featured through the full utilization of the desktops and Direct X 11, such as smoke is going to have lifelike volume and depth, water surfaces are going to react realistically to player interactions and bullets and bosses are going to be rendered with highest detail.
Also, PC version of Lost Planet 2 is fully going to support the latest NVIDIA® 3D Vision and 3D Vision Surround technologies, rendering a full 3D experience of the game. To ensure that your PC is tuned up to handle Lost Planet 2, Capcom and NVIDIA have released a preview of Lost Planet 2 on PC. This preview contains both a gameplay test and Direct® X 11 benchmark mode, which allows gamers to test their PCs to ensure they get the optimum Lost Planet 2 experience once it’s released.
