Lulzsec goes for early retirement

Lulzsec, the group which recently came to limelight for hacking high profile targets has opted for early retirement, it seems.
In a release posted on pastebin.com, they have announced that their journey ends now after being on the scene for 50 days.
We have recently seen a number of attacks by hackers which included Sony, Nintendo, EVE, and some other sites including FBI/CIA affiliates, and of these Lulzsec claimed responsibility for attacking Sony, Nintendo, PBS, FOX and also some game developers sites. They stole users account data and released it on the internet with some of it being reportedly used in scams. This made the group unpopular among the public as well as other hacker groups.
In their last release, Lulzsec have stated that the group is comprised of 6 hackers and also clarified that this disbanding was preplanned (interestingly) though the actual reasons are still unclear.
