Mass Effect movie: A panel at Comic-Con

During the festivities of the San Diego Comic Con later this month, BioWare’s own Mass Effect executive producer Casey Hudson and Legendary Pictures’ Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, Thor) will be host to a Question & Answer panel in order to get some feedback from the fans on the still-in-the-works Mass Effect movie.

The Legendary Pictures studio is responsible for putting out blockbusters like 300, The Dark Knight, and Watchmen — all movies heralded for their superb visual effects and engaging storyline.

BioWare will be setting up camp from Thursday July 21 and through Saturday July 24 at the Hilton Gaslamp Hotel in San Diego, California.

What are your thoughts on the Mass Effect movie? Who do you think should play Commander Shepard? Should the movie be based off of the first game’s story, including Saren and the Reaper Sovereign, or should it tell a new story?
