Metal Gear Solid Rising:Raiden gets a new look

Kojima announced two new MGS games titled Metal Gear Solid:Peace Walker(for the PSP) and the big one- Metal Gear Solid:Rising at E3 2009 amidst much fanfare and after teasing fans with a teaser site hinting at a new MGS game for weeks. Not much have been revealed about the game since its announcement back at E3.The game was not announced as an PS3 exclusive and people were left guessing if it would head the multi-way, However, Kojima Productions did announce that the protagonist of the game would be MGS’s franchise popular character Raiden and not Snake! Very little was revealed about the game at E3 save a new character sketch of Raiden.

Now, we have got hold of a new render of Raiden which appears to be the original in-game render to be used in MGS:Rising. Our beloved protagonist seems to have redeemed his blue eyes and have got more wavy and white hair. He also seem to possess a new armour now. There also appear a mysterious band which I think might be his sword. The picture is the outcome of solving one  of the various puzzles at MGS:Piece Walker Online Jigsaw puzzle website.  We do think this is a valid character sketch but are not able to get any official confirmation regarding the same at this point.

More information about the elusive MGS:Rising should be expected at the upcoming E3, till then this all that we have got for our readers.
