Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will be full remake

Hideo Kojima says Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a full remake, as opposed to a port.

Speaking recently to promote the game (via Siliconera), as well as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Kojima stated Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is not a remastered version; with the title being specifically being optimized for the 3DS, the game is a remake has been made from scratch.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is currently scheduled for a release on March 8th, 2012.
