Microsoft X10-Event Roundup

The recently concluded X10 event at San Francisco was better than expected. Microsoft managed to provide gamers with a lot of new bits of information; fans had been looking forward to see. Alan Wake got a release date aswell as a new bundle, Dead Rising 2 and Halo Reach beta saw their release window announced. Fable III got its first ever reveals. Splinter Cell Conviction saw pretty much everything about it covered. In total, the event was a success and it had something for all Xbox360 fans.

Gamersmint has rounded up all the important announcements which took place during the event for our readers. We will be updating this feed as and when we come across any new bits of info from the event.

  • The multiplayer beta of Halo:Reach scheduled for May 3rdl; will require ODST disk to get access. The official Halo Reach Boxart has been announced.
  • The first two Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 Map Packs will be available this spring, exclusively on Xbox360.
  • Dead Rising 2 headed for a Sep 3rd release in PAL territories. Dead Rising:Zero announced for XBLA, will bridge the gap between the two titles.
  • Alan Wake collectors edition revealed, comes bundled with many attractive bonus content and is priced at 80$
  • Microsoft announces Xbox 360 bundle for Final Fantasy XIII to be released on March 9(NA) with a mrp of $399. It contains a HDD of 250 GB, two joysticks, the game and additional content which comes exclusively with the bundle. The same package is also headed for a unconfirmed EU release.
  • Perfect Dark Zero returns in March to the Xbox Live Arcade. Lost Planet 2 is confirmed for May 18, while Fable III and Crackdown 2 are also set to release later in the year.
