Mirror’s Edge 2 Might Be in Development

EA Games has hinted that we might be able to see a Mirror’s Edge related title in the future.

while talking to Gamestar, EA Games VP Patrick Soderlund once again confirmed that they have not canned the IP and are working on something related to it, although he didn’t go into any details.

“I loved Mirror’s Edge and what we did with Mirror’s Edge. We have not abandoned the franchise. And we are working on something – but I’m not willing to talk more about that.”

We have previously heard rumours about the franchise being cancelled, but at E3 it was hinted that the next game might use the new Frostbite 2.0 engine which will debut with Battlefield 3 this year.
