Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Confirmed

Warner Bros have confirmed via a tweet that a Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is in development, and will be available for download for PC and through PSN, XBLA. The collection will include Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
The many rumours that have been flying around about the possibility of a compilation including “iconic arcade games” that takes gamers back to the arcade feel are now true. As well as a re-release, the games will come with added extras such as online play, leader boards, trophies for Playstation gamers and achievements for 360 owners.
Creator Ed Boon said in a press release that the Mortal Kombat fans have been asking for the classic titles to be released on updated consoles, and that they are “happy to deliver them.”
The collection will cost $9.99 on PSN and 800 MSP and will be available this summer.
