Naughty Dog requests reviewers not to spoil Uncharted 3

The first Uncharted 3 review score was revealed today, as Spanish gaming magazine Playmania posted the first ever review of the title. Although, awarding it a solid 9.9 out of 10 – a near perfect score, the reviewer committed a inexcusable sin, spoling the ending of the game in their review.

Naughty Dog came to know about this, and Co-President Christophe Balestra has come forward showing his displeasure on the matter, and also putting forward a request to all reviewers and journalists who’ve got the opportunity to play the game.

He’s requested everyone not to put up spoilers in their coverage, and of course not to spoil the ending of the game, which the first review of the title does. He posted this request via a tweet:

Can you, journalists & reviewers, make sure you don’t spoil the games in your reviews. Please :) Thank you!

Uncharted 3 releases on November 1st in the United States and 2nd in Europe, with the game’s online review embargo being Monday 24th October, 5pm UK time. We’ll certainly follow Naughty Dog’s instructions, and hope every one else who reviews the title does the same. Uncharted 3 is shaping up to be one hell of a game, and adding spoilers into the review may ruin the experience for gamers.
