February GI cover story is Elder’s Scroll Skyrim

Game Informer’s confirmed that they will be carrying an exclusive cover story about The Elder’s Scroll Skyrim in their next issue. They confirmed this news via a post at their official website.

GI says that they have been planning to do this story for months and have got an hands-on experience of the latest entry in the long-running RPG saga. Here’s what they said:

This weekend Bethesda revealed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to the world during the Spike TV VGAs. A press release this morning confirms what we already knew – gamers can get an in-depth look at the highly anticipated sequel to Oblivion in Game Informer’s February issue. We began planning ahead for this story months ago, and we’ve been dying to share the exciting news. Now that we’ve seen the game up close and personal at Bethesda Game Studios, we’re even more stoked to share what we’ve learned.

The game was announced at the VGAs yesterday and will release on Nov 11, 2011 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
