NFS: The Run Demo Confirmed For PSN, Xbox Live

Last week, Electronic Arts confirmed a demo for Need for Speed: The Run, but pulled the announcement. Now, the publisher has confirmed the demo’s existence once again along with delivering some of the taster’s details.

The demo for the umpteenth installment in the Need for Speed franchise releases on October 18th for both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. It includes the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni. Additionally, players can unlock the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S if you “refer a friend to download the demo.” Desert Hills, California and Independence Pass, Colorado will be the tracks included.

Finally, the demo will also give a preview of what gamers can expect from The Run’s Autolog; the social experience for EA’s driving titles.
