Online Storage now available to PlayStation Plus members

Sony has granted exclusive access to Online Storage for game saves for PlayStation Plus members. The service comes along with the mandatory 3.60 firmware update and offers 150 MB of free online storage space to store game save backup data online and supports up to a maximum of 1000 game saves.
The online storage can be accessed from the XMB, under the Games icon or by logging in to your PlayStation Network account from any PS3. Apart from saving you the risk of losing game data, the service also lets you resume your game progress on your friend’s PS3. “Copy Protected” game data can also be saved, but one will need to wait for 24 hours if they want to access it from a different PS3.
As of now, the feature is exclusive to PSN Plus members, but you can expect it to be introduced to normal PSN members sometime in the nearby feature.
The dawn of Cloud gaming is here, with the promise of a wonderful future.
