Playstation Plus launched

Sony has recently announced PlayStation Plus service for the PlayStation Network which is going to begin from 29th June.

Playstation Plus is different from Playstation Network which is still free to join. Playstation Plus actually allows subscribers to download fully designated PS3 and PSN titles as well as PS1 Classics for free for a designated period and charge every month. Also it offers many other features such as automatic downloads of game updates, early beta access, premium avatars and dynamic themes, full game trials and much more.

Subscription to this service is going to cost $49.99 per year in US. For elsewhere, it’ll be €49.99 in Europe, ¥5,000 in Japan and HK$233 in Asia. Also , as announced by Jack Tretton, anyone who subscribes in the first month gets Wipeout HD, an inFamous trial and Rally Cross mini all for the wonderful price of free.
