PlayStation Vita sales breach half a million in Japan

During their CES Press Conference, Sony revealed that the PS Vita has officially sold 500,000 units as of January 5th. The handheld debuted in Japan on December 17th, which brings the average sales per day to 25,0000.

Impressive figures indeed, but the 3DS still reigns supreme in the territory and it looks like there’s no stopping the snowball tumbling down the hill.
