Portal 2 DLC due out next month

Valve has recently assured its loyal fanbase that the free Portal 2 content it promised back in April is  underway and should still make their summer deadline.

Valve’s marketing director Doug Lombardi told Kotaku that fans should expect to see it sometime mid-September. So long as the content is released prior to September 23, they’ll have beaten the Fall equinox and Valve can consider their deadline met. We’re as giddy as you are.

The Portal 2 DLC pack will include new test chambers, a leaderboard, a challenge mode, and likely some new achievements to boost that Gamerscore.
