PS3 sells 50 million worldwide, Move does 8 million

PS3′s shipped 50 million worldwide as of 29 March 2011, and Move shipped 8 million, Sony’s confirmed today.
The Xbox 360, according to its last sales update, has sold around 50.8 million units. This figure’s from January 2011.
Sony’s also revealed that the PS3 currently has a catalogue of 89 games with 3D support, as of April 1. The number of games, with Move support stands at 155.
They’ve also confirmed that more than 480 million units of PS3 software has been sold, globally since it launch back in 2007.
PSN has more than 75 million registered accounts spanning across 59 countries and regions, from around the world, according to Sony.
The PS3 is starting to pick up pace, and this is great news for Sony.
