Rayne is coming back in Bloodrayne:Betrayal

Rayne is returning to haunt those blood-sucking vampires again, this summer.

In an announcement made by Majesco, has confirmed Bloodrayne:Betrayal will be released in Summer 2011. It will be available for download through PSN and XBL and will be in 2D ‘hack n slash’ format.

“It’s been a long time since Rayne captivated players with her bold mix of brutality and beauty, and fans have been hounding us to release another BloodRayne installment,” said Jesse Sutton (CEO, Majesco Entertainment)

Though this time, Majesco have teamed up with WayForward Technologies to bring alive Rayne in another iteration in the Bloodrayne series. In Betrayal, Rayne has been assigned one final mission by the Brimstone Society to prevent an evil vampire massacre. She will be joined by a mysterious friend in this task and will be having an arsenal of lethal weapons including Rayne’s signature arm blades. Majesco has promised that the experience will be more gruesome and will be more focussed towards matures audience with lots of blood and gruesome killing against new enemies.

Bloodrayne:Betrayal is expected to be released this summer for PSN and XBL.
