Real-Life Legend of Zelda Shield is Amazing
Most of us have grown up with The Legend of Zelda, having recently completed its 25th Anniversary, The Zelda franchise sure has been there for gamers for quiet sometime.
Who can forget the game’s famous Sword and shield wielding protagonist, Link? Therefore, it brings immense joy to our hearts when we get to experience real-life models related to the Zelda universe.
Today, is a special day since we get to see a real-life Hylian Shield, designed based on the one which Link wielded in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The attention to detail and the sheer size of the shield is baffling and we can’t admire it enough.

Hylian Shield: Zelda Ocarina of Time
This is Link Hylian Shield from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.The surface of the shield was made of very strong resin to resist light impacts, while the inside was filled with foam to keep the weight down during cosplay. The shield measures a 29×19 inch surface area, and has an overall weight of about 5 lbs. The automotive paint gives a reflective chrome shine to the prop, and creates the appearance of a steel replica. The back is also adorned with a sturdy handle and leather arm strap for wielding right handed.
